(a) Taps for three-fourths (¾) inch to two (2) inch services on Municipal water mains, or parts thereof, designated by the Authority having jurisdiction as requiring special care and/or attention, due to age or type of material of said water main or for other good cause, shall be performed only by the Municipal Water Department. The Municipality, after payment of the fees set forth in Chapter 921
(Water Charges), shall make the connection from the main to the curb shutoff. The applicant shall be responsible for all work and costs for extending laterals from the curb shut off to the building or point of use.
(b) In all other instances, the applicant shall be responsible for all work and costs relative to the tapping, connecting and extending of service laterals and/or water mains.
