925.55 REQUIRED CONNECTIONS.
   (a)   Connections to the Municipal sanitary sewer system shall be required for any lot or land where water is to be consumed and/or used, or upon which sanitary sewage or industrial waste will be generated, by any person, corporation or other entity, when said lot or land fronts or abuts any street in the Municipality where a sanitary sewer main exists; or abuts any easement or right of way which would provide for the extension of sewer mains, or service laterals, from another property in accordance with the requirements of Section 925.54 (Extension of Existing Sewers).

   (b)   After the acceptance by Council of any newly constructed and dedicated sanitary sewer, a period of one year will be allowed for making the proper connection thereto in accordance with the requirements of subsection (a) hereof. Such connection shall be permitted only after inspection and approval of existing plumbing.

   (c)   If, upon any lot or parcel of land where a user connection to the sanitary sewer system already exists, the building, structure or other facility thereon is altered, enlarged, reconstructed, or is proposed for such change in use that the existing tap and service lateral are inadequate to serve the modified building or use, then a new tap and service lateral, conforming to these regulations, shall be required.
