The minimum acceptable sizes for new sanitary taps and service laterals shall be as follows:
(a) For one and two family dwellings. Each dwelling unit shall have a minimum service lateral size of six (6) inches.
(b) For all other uses the proposed individual service and/or service lateral size shall be adequate for the projected service needs, but not less than six (6) inches, and shall be subject to the approval of the Municipal Engineer.
(c) If any existing building or structure, having a sanitary sewer user connection, is hereafter enlarged or demolished and replaced by a new building or structure and the size of the existing tap and service lateral are inadequate to serve the resulting building then a new tap and service lateral shall be required.
(d) If, within any existing building or structure or part thereof, the tenancy changes to a different user classification and the size of the existing tap and service lateral are inadequate to serve the resulting building tenancy then a new tap and service lateral shall be required.
