All new streets shall, at a minimum, conform to the standards set forth herein. The required width of pavements shall not be less than required herein based on the function and traffic load of the proposed street improvement. The material specifications for streets (including, but not limited to, sub-base, base, pavement, curbs and gutters) shall be in accordance with the Municipal Standards Specification for Streets based on the function and traffic load of the proposed street improvement.

Note: Limitations on dead end streets shall be: 500 feet for local general streets; 500 ADT for residential subcollectors; 200 ADT for residential access streets.
(d) The width of the pavement shall be measured from face of curb to face of curb.
(e) The pavement requirements enumerated above, and in the Municipal Street Specifications, may be modified if found necessary by the Municipal Engineer and if approved by the Municipal Approving Authority, because of extraordinary traffic loads.
