The fees associated with the administration and enforcement of the Street and Sidewalk Area Code shall be as provided for herein, paid as prescribed herein and in addition to any other fees required by other Municipal regulations.
(a) Permit fees: Shall be paid at time of permit application submittal.
(1) Street opening work permit: one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).
(2) Engineering review fee: three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00).
(b) Deposits: Shall be paid upon submittal of plans or request for inspection and/or testing. The total final amount shall be the actual cost incurred by the Municipality for administering and conducting the required action (including, but not limited to reviews, inspections and testing). Any balance remaining after final municipal approval shall be refunded by the Municipality within sixty (60) days; any charges by the Municipality in excess of the deposit shall be paid by applicant within thirty (30) days of receipt of an invoice for the balance. No final Municipal approval for the project shall be granted until all outstanding fees have been paid in full.
(1) The deposit for review of proposed street work which is within the scope of the Land Planning and Development Regulations shall be an amount as provided herein.
(2) The construction inspection deposit for street and sidewalk area work which is within the scope of the Land Planning and Development Regulations shall be equal to ten (10%) percent of the estimated total cost of construction (not including "prevailing wage") for all improvements requiring inspection services.
(3) The work and materials testing deposit shall be one hundred (100%) percent of the estimated cost of materials testing, plus testing of work during, or after, construction, plus any acceptance tests or procedures required for improvements to be dedicated to public use.
(4) The cost for inspections of street and sidewalk area work for a one or two-family residence is included in the permit fee amount set forth in subsection (a)(1) above.
