§ 35.02 DUTIES AND POWERS OF OFFICERS.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of each police officer to preserve order, peace and quiet and enforce all laws and ordinances in the village.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of each police officer to the report of the Chief of Police at such time and places as he or she may require, to devote such time and attention to the discharge of prescribed duties as a police officer and to obey the rules, regulations, orders, instructions and directives of the Chief of Police and the Police Department.
   (C)   Each police officer shall have the power to arrest, with or without process as provided by the laws of the village, the State of Illinois and the United States of America.
