§ 154.64 TRENCH BACKFILL.
   (A)   (1)   All trenches caused by the construction of sewers, water mains, water service pipes, and in excavation around catch basins, manholes, inlets and other appurtenances within two feet of the limits of existing or proposed pavements, sidewalks and curb and gutters shall be backfilled with trench backfill.
      (2)   When, in the opinion of the Village Engineer, proper compaction of the trench cannot be obtained, a flowable fill shall be utilized.
   (B)   Trench backfill shall be compacted in place to 95% of maximum density at optimum moisture, as determined by the Standard Proctor Test, and as specified in the appendices to this chapter, for the specific type of improvement.
