§ 111.41 HOURS OF OPERATION.
   (A)   No licensee shall keep open or allow his place of business to remain open or sell or offer for sale at retail, or offer to give away on any licensed premises, any alcoholic liquor in the village during the following hours:
      (1)   Class A license.
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive: Between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017) and 6:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017);
         (c)   Sunday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2018) and 8:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017);
         (d)   Monday: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
      (2)   Class C license.
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive: Between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (c)   Sunday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.;
         (d)   Monday: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
      (3)   Class D license.
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive: No service from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday: No service from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.;
         (c)   Sunday: No service from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.;
         (d)   Monday: No service from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m.
      (4)   Reserved.
      (5)   Class F license.
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive: Between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday and Sunday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (c)   Monday: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
      (6)   Class G license.
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017) and 6:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017);
         (c)   Sunday: Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2018) and 8:00 a.m. (effective 1/1/2017);
         (d)   Monday: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
      (7)   Class B license.
         (a)   Monday through Friday inclusive between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.;
         (b)   Saturday between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
         (c)   Sunday: no service from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
      (8)   Class H license:
         (a)   Tuesday through Friday inclusive between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
         (b)   Saturday between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
         (c)   Sunday between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
         (d)   Monday between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
      (9)   Class I license.
         (a)   Monday through Thursday from midnight to 6:00 a.m.
         (b)   Sunday: between the hours of midnight and 8:00 a.m.
         (c)   Friday and Saturday. 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
      (10)   Class K license. Notwithstanding the above, the Class K license may be open from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
      (11)   Class L license. Notwithstanding the above, the Class L license may be open:
         (a)   Monday through Saturday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.;
         (b)   Sundays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
   (B)   Sale of alcoholic liquors shall cease immediately at the aforesaid first hour noted above. Members of the general public must leave the licensed premises before the closing hours herein established. Any license so further restricted as to time shall, when issued, indicate on the face thereof the hours during which the licensee thereunder may keep open or allow his place of business to remain open as aforesaid. The Local Liquor Control Commissioner may, at his discretion, further reasonably restrict the above general hours during which any licensee may keep open or allow his place of business to remain open, or sell or offer for sale or offer to give away any alcoholic liquor at any licensed premises when in the Local Liquor Control Commissioner’s judgment, a further restriction would be in the best interest of the public and the village and in furtherance of the general welfare and safety thereof.
   (C)   Notwithstanding anything contained in division (A) of this section, all Class A and G licenses effective 1/1/2018 may remain open and continue the sale of alcohol until 3:00 a.m. on the morning following:
      (1)   New Years Eve;
      (2)   The night of the official Channahon fireworks display;
      (3)   The day preceding Thanksgiving Day;
      (4)   St. Patrick’s Day if St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday or Saturday, or, if it falls on another day, then the Saturday immediately preceding St. Patrick’s Day; and
      (5)   A day once per calendar year to be determined by the licensee. In order to utilize this “floater” option, the licensee must notify the Village President and the Chief of Police in writing not less than 14 days prior to the date requested.
   (D)   Notwithstanding anything contained in Division A, all Class K licenses may remain open and continue the sale of alcohol until 1:00 a.m. on the following morning:
      (1)   New Year’s Eve;
      (2)   The night of the official Channahon fireworks display;
      (3)   The day preceding Thanksgiving Day;
      (4)   St. Patrick’s Day if St. Patrick’s Day falls on Friday or Saturday, or, if it falls on another day, then the Saturday immediately preceding St. Patrick’s Day; and
      (5)   A day once per calendar year to be determined by the licensee. In order to utilize this “floater” option, the licensee must notify the Village President and the Chief of Police in writing not less than 14 days prior to the date requested.
