(A) It shall be the duty of all construction contractors, solicitors and door-to-door salesmen to be licensed as herein provided and in addition thereto to register their name, job and job location or sales program and sales area, as the case may be, with the Village Clerk in the Municipal Building for each construction project or sales program in which they may engage in the village corporate limits.
(B) The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to post and maintain appropriate signs at the limits of the village with the following language:
“SOLICITORS, PEDDLERS, AND CONTRACTORS MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED AT THE CHANNAHON MUNICIPAL BUILDING.”
