It shall be unlawful for any contractor having a contract or agreement with the owner of any land or building for the construction, repair, remodeling, alteration or demolition thereon or thereof to contract with any person, firm or corporation, other than employees of the contractor, not licensed by the village as a contractor for labor, materials or services. Violation of this section may, in addition to penalty upon conviction, be grounds for the suspension or revocation of the license of any person, firm or corporation in violation hereof.
