§ 155.06 SWIMMING POOL BARRIER REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Every person owning land on which there is situated a private swimming pool shall erect and maintain thereon an adequate enclosure either surrounding the property or the pool area, sufficient to make such pool inaccessible to small children. Openings in the enclosure shall not allow passage of a four inch diameter sphere.
   (B)   Such enclosure, including gates therein, must not be less than four feet above the underlying ground, all gates must be self-closing and self-latching with latches placed four feet above the underlying ground or otherwise made inaccessible from the outside to small children.
   (C)   If the private swimming pool is above ground, the enclosure must be either a property or area fence a minimum of four feet high or a minimum 24 inch high railing on top of the pool perimeter with a locked security ladder to make it inaccessible to small children.
