It shall hereafter be, and it is hereby declared to be unlawful, for any person, persons, firm, partnership, or corporation to erect or construct, alter, or maintain, or cause or permit to be erected, constructed, altered, or maintained, on any premises within the town limits, any building or buildings or appurtenances which shall be used for a business which constitutes a public nuisance or is offensive to the public.
