§ 72.20 STOPPING, STANDING, AND PARKING OF ALL MOTOR VEHICLES.
   The Town Council adopts the following regulations for the stopping, standing, and parking of all motor vehicles, including, but not limited to, motorcycles.
   (A)   The provisions of this section shall not relieve any person from the duty and responsibility to obey the directions of a police officer or traffic control device, or comply with the law, or to avoid obstruction and encumbrance of any street so as to impede the free use of the same for its proper purposes.
   (B)   No person shall stop, stand, or park a motor vehicle as follows:
      (1)   On or in any alley;
      (2)   On or obstructing a sidewalk or crosswalk;
      (3)   Obstructing a public or private driveway or easement;
      (4)   Obstructing an intersection;
      (5)   Adjacent to curbing painted yellow for fire hydrant clearance or denoting other no parking areas;
      (6)   Within 25 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
      (7)   Within 60 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
      (8)   Within 25 feet of or otherwise obstructing the driveway entrance to or exit from a fire station;
      (9)   Double parking, that is, parking adjacent to and on the roadway side of a vehicle properly parked at the curb of a street;
      (10)   In such manner as to obstruct traffic or endanger pedestrians or vehicles properly using the street right-of-way and/or sidewalks;
      (11)   In any fire lane properly posted and designated by order of the Chief of the Fire Department. Such orders shall be forwarded at least annually to the Police Commission and to the Town Council and shall be temporary until approved or disapproved by the Town Council. This division (B)(11) shall apply to both public and private property; and
      (12)   In front of and ten feet on either side of a vehicle delivery mail box between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except on Sunday and official postal holidays.
