§ 154.068  APARTMENT HOUSES.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      APARTMENT HOUSE. A building designed for or occupied by three or more families exclusively for dwelling purposes, three or more stories in height.
   (B)   An apartment house is permitted only in the districts designated below, in accordance with the procedure specified in §§ 154.145 through 154.148 of this chapter, on any lot with a minimum area and a minimum width as follows:

   (C)   The height of the principal building of an apartment house shall be as follows:

   (D)   Yard sizes for apartment houses shall be as follows:
      (1)   Front yard: 20% of the average depth of lots in the block;
      (2)   Side yard: the sum of the side yards shall equal not less than 20% of the lot width with a minimum width of five feet for either side yard; and
      (3)   Rear yard: 20% of the depth of the lot, with a minimum depth of 20 feet.
   (E)   The ground floor area for an apartment house shall be not less than 1,200 square feet.
   (F)   The lot coverage for an apartment house shall be 60% maximum on corner lots and 50% maximum on interior lots.
   (G)   Uses permitted for accessory buildings for an apartment house shall be a private garage, exclusive of industrial or commercial use.
