§ 97.07  OBSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC WAYS BY SIGNS OR MERCHANDISE.
   (A)   The following are prohibited.
      (1)   Signs and merchandise may not be placed at or on street corners in such a way as to obstruct the vision of a motorist legally entering an intersection.
      (2)   Merchandise may be piled no closer than five feet from the curb or right-of-way.
      (3)   No more than one signpost of no greater than one foot in diameter may be closer than four feet to the curb or right-of-way at an intersection. The sign supported by the signpost must be higher than eight feet from the ground.
      (4)   No sign lower than eight feet from the ground may be placed closer than four feet from the curb or right-of-way.
   (B)   Nothing herein shall be construed as prohibiting the placement of facilities for the seating of pedestrians or the display of merchandise in observance of “sidewalk days”.
