905.02 PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES.
   The primary purposes and objectives of the Tree Commission shall be:
   (a)   To consider, investigate, make findings, report, and make recommendations regarding trees to the City Administration.
   (b)   To hold regular and special meetings at which the subject of trees insofar as it relates to the municipality may be discussed by members of the Commission, City Administration, City personnel, City Council, and all others interested in the tree program.
   (c)   To recommend species and varieties of trees to be planted in the treelawns and all other public properties.
   (d)   To develop, implement, and update an Urban Forestry Management Plan for Celina's public trees. To present on an annual basis a report to Celina City Council and to provide a written report to the mayor for inclusion in the annual State of the City report.
   (e)   To disseminate news and information regarding the selection, planting, and maintenance of trees within the corporate limits, whether the same be on private or public property. To implement an Arbor Day observance on an annual basis.
