(A) The Chief of Police is authorized to prohibit parking on either or both sides of any street in the town, between the hours and on the days of the week specified by him, and to erect signs so indicating.
(B) When appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle at any time during the hours or on the days indicated or for a longer time than indicated as the case may be.
