§ 34.106 MEMBERSHIP.
   (A)   The Promotion and Festival Committee shall consist of at least three members. The Town Council shall appoint the members of the Promotion and Festival Committee. The Town Council may appoint as many members in excess of three as it deems proper and appropriate for the purposes of the Committee.
   (B)   Initial appointments to the Promotion and Festival Committee shall be until December 31, 1991. Thereafter, appointments to the Promotion and Festival Committee shall be for a one-year period, commencing from the appointment of the members until no later than December 31 of each calendar year.
   (C)   Members of the Promotion and Festival Committee serve for the purpose of advising the Town Council, and undertaking the activities necessary to promote the town, conduct and carry on designated festivals, promotion days, recognition days and events, and the like. Members of the Promotion and Festival Committee may be removed at any time, for any reason, with or without cause. The Town Council may assign and designate responsibilities to the Promotion and Festival Committee regarding any related town promotion matters. It is expressly recognized and acknowledged that the members of the Promotion and Festival Committee are volunteers who are providing their time, energies, and services to the town for the benefit of all residents of the town. There shall be no compensation to the members of the Committee for their services rendered to the town for the purposes stated herein.
