§ 33.28 WORK SCHEDULE.
Reserve Police Officers shall be required to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours of service a month. Since the purpose of the Reserve Police Officer Program is to supplement and assist the regular sworn police personnel of the Department, this schedule of 16 hours is to be considered a minimum. It is understood that working a minimum of two shifts a month, or a minimum of 16 hours per month, will serve the needs of the Department in providing police protection to the residents of the town, and not place any undue strain upon the Reserve Police Officers.
