(A) There is now created a commission to promote the development and growth of the convention, visitor and tourism industry of the county.
(B) (1) The purpose of the Commission shall be to promote, assist and encourage the development and growth of the convention, visitor, recreation, and tourism industry in the county, in accordance with I.C. 6-9-18-5
.
(2) The Board of County Commissioners hereby confirms that the County Convention, Visitor and Tourism Commission shall continue in existence, and shall operate pursuant to I.C. 6-9-18-1 et seq.
