The Executive Director of the Planning Department shall be responsible for the employment and direct supervision of the Assistant Director, Zoning Administrator, and such other staff as may be employed by the Department. As such, the Executive Director shall have the authority to advertise any position for which funds have been appropriated to the Logansport and/or Cass County Plan Commissions, to conduct interviews for the purpose of filing such positions, and for the hiring of Department employees. Further, the Executive Director shall have the authority to terminate employment within the Planning Department.
