2.32.080 Membership—Oath required.

   Each person serving as a member of the Casa Grande civil defense organization in any capacity, prior to assuming his duty or duties, shall take an oath which shall be substantially as follows:

STATE OF ARIZONA
JOINT COUNCIL OF CIVILIAN
DEFENSE LOYALTY OATH

I,                  , do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Arizona against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; that I will well and safely discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter.

I do further swear (or affirm) that I do not advocate, nor am I a member of any political party or organization that advocates the overthrow of the Government of the United States or of this State by force or violence; and that during such time as I am a member of the National Civilian Defense of the United States I will not advocate or become a member of any political party or organization that advocates the overthrow of the Government of the United States by force or violence.
