2.20.050 Firemen—Appointment, powers and duties.
   Volunteer firemen shall be appointed by the city manager upon the recommendation of the fire chief. Such appointees shall be able-bodied citizens whose business activities are normally within the confines of the city, and who have telephones in their homes.
