For certain subdivisions, the subdivider may, after discussion with the planning director, simultaneously submit both the preliminary plat and the final plat. Depending on the size and complexity of the subdivision and the amount of street dedication, any or all of the information required in the preliminary and final plat processes may be submitted. The director shall determine which information must be submitted for adequate review of the subdivision. The preliminary and final plats may then be processed concurrently. It is possible for the preliminary and final plats to be one and the same instrument.
