10.08.170 Driving trucks on residential streets restricted.
   A.   No person shall drive a truck over seven thousand pounds empty weight on a street where the council has by ordinance designated such traffic is prohibited.
   B.   When by ordinance the council shall designate a street on which they wish to prohibit the operation of trucks over seven thousand pounds empty weight, the director of public works shall erect and maintain the appropriate signs on the street.
   C.   This section shall not prohibit trucks over seven thousand pounds empty weight from making deliveries, loading, or unloading on any city street.
   D.   Any person violating subsection A of this section, unless excepted by subsection C, shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.
