6.08.090 Dangerous animals.
   A.   “Vicious animal” means any animal of the order carnivora that has a propensity to bite human beings or other animals without provocation, kills another animal without provacation and/or has been so declared after hearing before a justice of the peace or a city magistrate.
   B.   It is unlawful to permit any dangerous or vicious animal to run at large within the city, and the animal shall be immediately impounded by the animal control officer, the officer to be designated by the city.
   C.   Vicious animals shall be destroyed in a manner provided by law.
   D.   Exhibitions or parades of animals which are ferae naturae in the eyes of the law may be conducted only upon securing a permit from the animal control officer.
