A. A person commits dog fighting by knowingly:
1. Owning, possessing, keeping or training any dogs with the intent that the dogs engage in an exhibition of fighting with another dog;
2. Causing any dog to fight with another dog, or causing any dog to injure another dog for amusement or gain;
3. Permitting any act in violation of subdivisions 1 or 2 above to be done on any premises under his charge or control.
B. Dog fighting is unlawful and punishable pursuant to state law.
