It is unlawful for any peddler, solicitor, canvasser or transient merchant, their agents or representative, to come upon any premises whereon a sign bearing the words “no peddlers” or “no canvassers” or “no solicitors” or any combination of such terms or terms similar thereto is exposed to public view or to remain on any whether such premises are posted as specified above or not.
