2.36.030 Removal of members.
   Except when prohibited by state statute, the mayor shall have the right and power to remove any committee member, with or without cause, upon approval by the council. It shall be a cause for removal if any committee member shall have two or more consecutive unexcused absences from regular meetings. Such absences shall be reported to the council by the chairman of the committee. The committee, with the approval of the council, may establish additional causes for the removal of members in its rules of procedure, and the same shall be valid causes for removal of a member by the council when so reported to the council by the chairman of the committee.
