   3.15.1   Certificate of Occupancy Required
      (A)   No new building or part thereof may be occupied, no addition or enlargement of any existing building may be occupied, no existing building that has been altered or moved may be occupied, and no change in the use or occupancy of any building may be made in any existing building or part thereof, until the Inspections and Permits Department has issued a certificate of occupancy or temporary certificate, stating that the building and/or the proposed use complies with the provisions of this Ordinance, including any applicable regulations applying to the proposed use and/or the zoning district in which the use is to be located.
      (B)   A certificate of occupancy shall be required for the purpose of maintaining, renewing, changing, or extending a nonconforming use.
