(A) Upon receiving any application for development within the Flood Hazard Area, the Floodplain Administrator shall determine whether the proposed development meets the flood damage prevention standards set forth in Section 14.7.
(B) If the Floodplain Administrator determines that the proposed development does not meet these standards, then the Town shall issue no permit, certificate, or other form of approval for the proposed development.
(C) In those cases where this Ordinance requires some other form of approval for development in the Flood Hazard Area, the Floodplain Administrator shall report its determination to the body or agency responsible for the issuance of that other form of development approval, within a reasonable amount of time for that body to act accordingly in approving or denying the proposed development.
(D) In those cases where no other form of approval is required for the proposed development in an area of special flood hazard, the Floodplain Administrator shall notify the applicant of its determination within a reasonable amount of time.
