The procedures below should be followed before opening pool to the public every day.
(A) Check the pool deck for broken glass and clean up. If broken glass is located on pool deck, vacuum swimming pool.
(B) Pick up litter on pool premises and in the immediate area outside of the fence and parking lot.
(C) Clean restroom and shower areas and disinfect.
(D) Check pH and chlorine levels and record.
(E) Check all equipment for safety condition (diving boards, pool ladders, hand rails, lifesaving safety equipment, park benches and tables).
(F) Wash down pool deck areas and disinfect.
(G) Make sure there is enough toilet paper in the restrooms.
(H) Fill soap dispensers in shower rooms.
(I) Open doors to the public after all previous steps have been accomplished.
