§ 30.002  ELECTIONS.
   (A)   Election procedure. The provisions of 10 ILCS and 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-10 concerning municipal elections shall govern the conduct of the city elections.
   (B)   Inauguration. The inauguration of newly elected city officials shall occur at the first regular or special meeting of the City Council in the month of May following the general municipal election in April.
