A permit issued must be in the possession of the contractor on the site for which the permit was issued. It shall be unlawful for any person to exhibit or display a permit at a site not covered by such permit or to misrepresent any information required as a condition of issuance of the permit or to misrepresent the number of the permit or the date of its issuance.
