(A) All sewer mains and sewer laterals shall have green marker tape installed within the trench per standard plans. Curved sections of sewer mains and laterals shall have tracer wire installed within the trench per the standard plans.
(B) Tracer wire shall be Trace-Safe® water blocking tracer wire and shall be a minimum of 19 gage. Tracer wire shall be continuous from manhole to manhole and shall only be installed as specified by the manufacture with approved connectors if needed.
(C) Marker tape shall be five millimeter, three-inch wide green marking tape. Tape shall read “Caution Buried Sewer Line Below”.
