All sewer construction materials proposed to be used shall be new materials approved by the Engineer prior to the start of construction. Where material specification numbers are used herein, they shall refer to the latest revision thereof. For the purpose of these specifications, all pipe materials are classified as either “rigid” or “flexible”.
