The operator of a taxicab business permitted pursuant to this chapter shall pay to the Director of Finance an amount as provided in the General Fee Schedule (Section 206.01(12) of the Administration Code) per taxicab operated by such company at the time a permit is granted and on January 1 of each year thereafter.
