184.02 USE OF TAX LEVY PROCEEDS.
   (a)   The proceeds of the tax levied under Section 184.01 are for the purpose of paying the costs and expenses of enforcing and administering the tax provided for in Section 184.01 and for planning, constructing, reconstructing, improving, maintaining and repairing public roads, highways and streets; maintaining and repairing bridges and viaducts; paying the Village's portion of the costs and expenses of cooperating with the Department of Transportation in the planning, improvement and construction of State highways; paying the Village's portion of the compensation, damages, costs and expenses of planning, constructing, reconstructing, improving, maintaining and repairing roads and streets; paying any costs apportioned to the Village under Ohio R.C. 4907.47; paying debt service charges on notes or bonds of the Village issued for such purposes; purchasing, erecting and maintaining street and traffic signs and markers; purchasing, erecting and maintaining traffic lights and signals; and to supplement revenue already available for such purposes, provided that any use of such tax proceeds shall be in accord with the purposes set forth in Ohio R.C. 4504.04, 4504.06, 4504.17 and 4504.171.
   (b)   The municipal motor vehicle license tax levied under Section 184.01 shall be imposed from and after the earliest date permitted by law and continue in effect until repealed by ordinance. (Ord. 2010-04. Passed 2-15-10.)
