(a) There is hereby levied an annual permissive motor vehicle license tax upon the operation of motor vehicles upon the public roads or highways of the Village of Cardington. Such tax shall be at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per motor vehicle on all motor vehicles the district of registration of which, as defined in Ohio R.C. 4503.10, is in the Village of Cardington. This tax shall be in addition to the taxes at the rates specified in Ohio R.C. 4503.04 and 4503.16. This tax is to supplement revenues already available under Ohio R.C. 4504.04, 4504.06, 4504.17 and 4504.172. This tax is levied under the authority of Ohio R.C. 4504.171.
(b) As used in this chapter the term "motor vehicles" means any and all vehicles included within the definition.
