1-6-7: CLASSIFICATION, STANDARDIZATION AND SPECIFICATIONS:
The purchasing specialist may cause to be prepared standard specifications for, and the classification of all the supplies used by the various branches of the city government, and to adopt as standards the minimum number, quality, size and variety of supplies consistent with the successful operation of the city government.
