10-2-21: PLACES OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLAGE, TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS; PLACING AND MAINTAINING RECEPTACLES FOR LITTER:
In order to assist the public in complying with this Chapter, the owner or person in control of any property which is held out to the public as a place for assemblage, the transaction of business, or recreation, shall cause to be placed and maintained receptacles for the deposit of litter of sufficient volume, in sufficient numbers and at appropriate locations to meet the needs of the numbers of people customarily coming in or using the property. If the owner or person in control of such property has placed litter receptacles on his property but the number, size, or location of such receptacles has proved inadequate to meet the needs of the numbers of people coming on or using that property as indicated by the condition and appearance of that property, the owner or person in control shall provide additional and/or appropriately located receptacles within ten (10) days after being made aware of the need to do so by written notice from the City Manager or his designee.
