1-4-8: CLASSIFICATION PLAN:
In preparing the classification plan as called for in this Chapter the City Manager shall ascertain the duties, authority, and responsibility of all positions subject to the Chapter. After consultation with the Personnel Board, administrative department heads and employees, he shall prepare and recommend to the City Council a position classification plan which shall group all regular, full- and part-time positions in classes, based on their duties, authority, and responsibilities. Such plan shall set forth for each class of position a class title, statement of duties, authority, and responsibilities, and the qualifications for satisfactory performance thereof. (Ord. 1436 § 9)
