Failure to have a vacant building registered, secured, or in compliance with this section, within thirty (30) days of the property being deemed a vacant building, shall constitute a violation of this section, subjecting the owner of the building to penalties as provided in this Chapter or Code and to any remedies the City may avail itself of as provided for herein and elsewhere in this Code, including, but not limited to, the City securing the building at the property owners expense, which may also lead to liens on said property.
