17-14-4: PROHIBITION AGAINST THE USE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, CANNABIS AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS:
   A.   No person shall be in the illegal possession of a controlled substance in violation of the Illinois Controlled Substance Act (720 ILCS 570/100 et seq) upon any property used as a municipal park, municipal multi-use pathway, or municipal open space area.
   B.   No person shall consume a product containing cannabis or THC upon any property used as a municipal park, municipal multi-use pathway, or municipal open space area.
   C.   No person shall consume a tobacco product or a product containing nicotine while upon any property used as a municipal park, municipal multi-use pathway, or municipal open space area. (Ord. 2020-53; Ord. 2021-01)
