2-5-6: POSSESSION OR CONSUMPTION IN UNLICENSED ESTABLISHMENTS:
It is hereby declared unlawful for any person or any person owning, maintaining, or operating any business or restaurant which does not possess a liquor license issued pursuant to this title to permit persons to bring alcoholic liquor upon the premises and there possess and consume the same. This provision shall not apply to private functions, as defined in section 2-1-1 of this title, of fifty (50) or fewer people, or in the event a licensed caterer is providing service at a private function of more than fifty (50) people, or during events where no entry fee, admission fee, recommended donation, or ticket is required to go upon the premises.
