15.8.2: JURISDICTION:
Whenever any subdivision of land shall hereafter be made within the incorporated limits of the city or within the unincorporated area contiguous thereto, that is, within one and one-half (11/2) miles of the corporate limits of said city, the subdivider thereof, or his agent, shall submit both a preliminary plat and a final plat of the subdivision to the development services director of the city. Said plans and plats, proposed improvements, and all procedure relating thereto, shall in all respects be in full compliance with the regulations contained in this chapter, the zoning district map, the official map, and the comprehensive plan of the city. All lands to be dedicated to the city for use as streets, highways, alleys, parks, and other public use areas, shall be referred to the city planning commission for review and recommendation before being accepted by the city council or by any other governing authority.
