Section 2-5 Authority of Aldermen to abate nuisances and prescribe rules and ordinances.
The Aldermen shall have the power to abate all nuisances and impose such fines and penalties as may be necessary to abate them; they shall also have power to prescribe any rules, regulations and ordinances for the good government of the Town, not inconsistent with the laws of the State or the United States.
