10-4-3: SPECIAL USE EXCEPTIONS:
Bed and breakfast.
Churches and other facilities normally incidental thereto, provided that the proposed site for a church is not less than two (2) acres; that there is adequate access to all required off street parking areas; that there is no parking in the required front yard; and that the church site is adjacent to a major thoroughfare.
Home occupations 1 .
Public hospital, but not including institutions for the care of the feeble minded or mentally ill, provided that the hospital site is adjacent to a major thoroughfare.
Public utility buildings, telephone exchange buildings, electric transformer stations and substations, and gas regulator stations, but not including service or storage yards when operating requirements necessitate the locating within the district in order to serve the immediate vicinity.
Residential planned unit developments subject to the provisions of chapter 13 of this title.
Signs when located on the same lot pertaining to the use of that particular building or buildings; provided, that they will not overhang any public right of way, shall not be illuminated, and shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet in area.
Stables for the housing of no more than two (2) horses, provided that lot area requirements set forth in section 10-4-5 of this chapter are met. (Ord. 567, 11-1976; amd. Ord. 1714, 12-4-2001)
