That in the event that a court of competent jurisdiction should hereafter determine that one or more of the provisions of this chapter are invalid or unconstitutional, the remainder of this chapter, and each and every other clause and provision hereof, shall be and remain in full force and effect as though the invalid or unconstitutional provision had never been a part of this chapter.
