3-4-11: FALSE REPRESENTATIONS:
Any auctioneer who shall, by himself or another, at any sale of any real or personal property at public auction, with intent to induce any person to purchase the same, make any false representations or statements as to the ownership or quality of the article or property offered for sale, or as to the poverty or circumstances of the owner or pretended owner of such property, shall, upon conviction, be fined in a sum of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, and the license of such auctioneer shall be revoked.
